Monarch Community Science Project
Monday, July 10, 2023
11:30 am - 12:00 pm
South Courtyard
Monarch butterflies play an important role as pollinators, and their populations are in trouble. Learn about them from teen volunteers.
Visit our patch of milkweed (which provides food and habitat for monarch larvae), observe monarch eggs and caterpillars, and talk with teen volunteers about the role monarch butterflies play in the environment.
Volunteers are submitting data to the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project.
