Food insecurity continues to be a concern for many households. In fact, in 2023 the Niles Township Food Pantry served more than 70,000 of our neighbors. Nationwide, one in six Americans seek help with food each year.

The food resources below are available if you or someone you know needs a helping hand.

Niles Township Food Pantry
Must be a resident of Niles Township with a current Illinois driver's license or state ID

• Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 9:30–11:30 am and 1–3:30 pm
• Tuesdays, 9:30–11:30 am, 1–3:30 pm and 4:30–6:30 pm
• Closed the last two business days of each month for cleaning and restocking

Rahmah Interfaith Food Pantry
Serves Halal food; Bring Greater Chicago Food Depository ID or register at the food pantry with a photo ID

If you have students in your home or if you are an older adult, contact your local school district and Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois for additional resources. If you’d like to check if you are eligible for the State of Illinois Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), use the ABE (Application for Benefits Eligibility) website tool. The Village of Skokie Health and Human Services Department can help you apply.
